Getting onto Google starts with two separate things: a Google Business Profile (the listing that shows up in Maps and local search results) and your actual website being indexed and findable in search results. Most small businesses need both.
Google Business Profile
This is free to set up and often the fastest way for local customers to find you. It needs your correct business name, address or service area, phone number, categories, and photos, kept up to date.
Your website
Search engines need to be able to find and understand your website. That means clear page titles, real content (not just images), and a site that loads properly on mobile. A website nobody’s updated in years, or one built entirely in images, can struggle here.
